One of the most common questions we get asked here on this blog is just how quickly can I obtain my forklift certification?
And this is a valid question because it can and will have an impact on when and where you will go through with the certification process.
Basically all Forklift training courses will have a different recommended duration depending on the training provider and their specific course structure. However on average the course will go for no less than 4 hours and no longer than 3 days.
No matter how long the course duration you sign up for however, you will be required to demonstrate that you have the requisite knowledge and practical skill base to safely operate a forklift truck. Most experienced truck drivers will find the two day course more than necessary however it will make obtaining certification that much easier.
Longer forklift training and certification courses are available however for those who have never even driven a car or conducted any pre course study. These course generally span a whole week or series of weekends and deliver absolutely everything on the topic of forklifts and their operations.
