In the State of Alabama forklift training is a requirement for all company employees operating forklift machinery, in order for their employers to comply with OSHA regulation 29 CFR 1910.178. Formal training will be offered at your place of employment or alternatively your company may pay for you to attend an external forklift training class provided by a third party organization.
